Auto Italia LIVE: Episode 3
Another week and we cranked up a gear to present an unparalleled showcase of artistic talent presented by Richard John Jones. We watched TV with Olivia Plender who takes us through her investigations into early cultural programming on the BBC and questions the romanticism and authority implied in the representation of the artist and documentary narrator that have now become an unquestioned and disempowering short-hand. The episode also features special presentations from Patrick Coyle and Josh Whitaker and premiered a new site-specific collaborative dance work from Eddie Peake, Alex Hemsley and Amy McDonough which moves throughout the whole space. It concludes with a cookery demonstration of the Kugelhupf Parmentier form metanymical chef Carlos Monleon Gendall which automatically leads to the submission of its creator.
